AN UNUSUAL CAREER 

I've worked for big, small, niche and mass-market organisations. 

I've worked in ad agencies, creative houses, in-house roles and as a sole trader. 

I've been lucky to tell some amazingstories that gave organisations the unfair advantage in the war for talent.

Everyone thinks they know what the problem is. Everyone disagrees on the solution. No one wants to look deeper unless there's blood on the floor or an inconvenient truth hiding just out of sight. The value I bring to organisations that are stuck in a dead-zone of self-reflection is in being outside the chain of command, comfortable asking tough questions, and very interested in solving the right problem (and not the popular one). 

Creating a brand is essentially building acharacter you want your customers to interact with. I've had the pleasure of doing this for some very complex and interesting businesses, and learning how to take the personalitythat typifies their values and approach, and turn it into an experience for their audience. 

A voracious reader, I'm very connected to the power of words to build trust, create meaning, explore new ideas or forge connections. I've been able to translate my love of reading into a capacity for copywriting and crafting comms that's served me well in helping brands build momentum and trust. 

I've been a writer and photographer most of my life, as well as a podcaster, video editer, filmmaker and graphic designer. Because I love making things in my personal life, I've built a set of skills that's very useful when trying to tell a story in the best way.
